Christian Aid
Book Sale

Each year, Edinburgh New Town Church hosts the Christian Aid Book Sale, one of the largest and best-known charity book sales in the UK. Held annually, it draws visitors from across Edinburgh and beyond, with thousands of books across every genre.

Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, the sale raises significant funds for Christian Aid while bringing the building to life in a unique and memorable way. It has become a much-loved fixture in the city’s calendar and an event many return to year after year.
